Peace of mind

I am a little tired. I have a lot of studying that I need to get done for my BSF-Nerve test. I myself had a mini breakdown earlier tonight. Right now I am feeling a little alone. I know that I am not alone but maybe more disconnected. This is the first time that I've really lived on my own. I live with people that I don't really know and I don't feel comfortable enough to talk to them. I feel like I have no one to talk to. I told Aaron how I was feeling and he reminded me that I always have God. That's what I need to cling to right now. It's just a time when people really shouldn't be expected to take 9 tests in a week. I really haven't been stressed about all these tests but when you add in the "loneliness" factor, stress just builds. I think tonight was a night to release my tension in the form of tears. I really have felt that I've done pretty good on these first round of tests. It's hard but manageable. I've studied so hard and I just have more to go. I am even already preparing my study strategies needed for my next set of Block exams (Block II). Thanks for all the prayers. I've been calling my mom every day before each test that I'm about to take and then I call her when I finish. She has been such a strong support for me and I miss her. I need to see her and hug her (I'm starting to cry right now).

It's perfect that my White Coat Ceremony is this Sunday. My family will be seeing me on Saturday and I just pray that I can relax and sleep and have a little fun in San Francisco.

Please continue to pray. I have 3 more tests. One tomorrow and 2 on Friday, which includes the one that I really need to study for.

Medical school is amazing but at the same time, very hard and emotionally draining. I can't imagine what I would have been like if I had gotten in last year. God has perfect timing and I'm realizing that more and more each day.

Peace out.

Coral- it sounds like things are just flying by for you. it is so easy to get swept up in it all and then all of the sudden, you are like "wait, how did i get here and why do i feel so badly?" I have felt like that so many times during my ministry here in pomona. just stay strong and firm in god...keep remembering his daily little blessings while you continue on in his big plan for you. i love ya and i am encouraged by seeing how you strive to attribute it all to god. hopefully we can catch up when you come to see gemma.

Hey, I was telling my roommates about your blocks and we were just commenting that it must be so hard to have that many tests in one concentrated period of time. If you saw how I was after my first exam, then you'd understand why I can't imagine being in your shoes. I am so glad that you are realizing to cling to God because he truly is the only who can get us through times like these when we're feeling alone like that. Just remember, give your problems to God because He can fix them so much better than we ever could...this is the only reason why I've been able to stay sane during this huge transition. Call me when you're done with your block and we'll plan a full weekend of destressing activities! Something to look forward to...
